One hour once a week
One sacred hour
In a week filled with 168 hours, we got this one hour to come together with the people of God where everything else goes a little bit more quiet and the voice of God gets a little more loud
It\'s the hour we remember who we are and whose we are
And in that one hour, lots of things happen
Hearts soften and tears fall, faith grows, lives change
And here\'s the thing, you might not remember every sermon
You might not crush it on every note
There might be coffee spills and squirming kids and doubts and everything, but God still moves in that one sacred hour every single week
So don\'t underestimate it because when you give God that one hour in faith, he often gives you what you need for the other 167
I think that\'s why Psalm 84 says it like this, better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere because time spent in the presence of God has a disproportionate impact on your life and on your soul
