When Adam and Eve
trusted the deceptive voice of the snake
rather than the reliable
and true voice of God
sin was unleashed into the world
The fall brought the penalty of sin
the power of sin and the presence of sin
into every aspect of life
Yet in the middle of the problem of Genesis 3
God spoke a plan…
a promise to send a snake crusher
to crush the work of Satan
and all that sin had broken
His name is Jesus
By the cross
Jesus has crushed the penalty of sin
His life, his blood given
the penalty…paid
The snake is crushed
By His resurrection life
he has crushed the power of sin
With his life he defies death
proving his power is unmatched
The snake is crushed
Yet as the presence of sin remains
In a world filled with frustration
heartache
and death
we wait for the promise of His return
The Snake Crusher is coming back
to finish what he started
and forever put an end to Satan and his kingdom
As we wait with eyes of faith
we look to the Snake Crusher
When you feel powerless against sin and that addiction
look to the snake crusher
When you feel condemned by your past
look to the snake crusher
When the doctors can’t find a heartbeat on the ultrasound
look to the snake crusher
When the cancer seemed unstoppable
look to the snake crusher
When the tears fall through graveside goodbyes
look to the snake crusher
In the day of despair
in the season of sorrow
during the years of waiting
through the grief
and the cries
and the pain
look to the snake crusher
He will come back to make all things new
Satan and sin banished forever
Every tear wiped from our eyes
Death will be no more
We wait for the Snake Crusher
Come Lord, Jesus
Come

This powerful video explores both the many ways and the ultimate way that Jesus has crushed the snake, the serpent... our enemy. Once and forever, Jesus has crushed the penalty of sin and the power of sin.Yet as the presence of sin remains, we can look to the snake crusher through our addiction, frustration, grief, death, despair, sorrow, loss, pain... He is coming back to make all things new. Sin banished forever... death will be no more. Come Lord, Jesus.
This powerful video rehearses the many great realities that are true in Jesus. He is the image of the invisible God... He is before all things and He is the head of the body... He is the beginning and the firstborn... In Him all things were created and all things hold together. Jesus... over everything.
This captivating video displays the many names of Jesus, found throughout scripture, and the endless roles he fulfills for us... The rock of ages, the ancient of days, the holy one, the heir of all things, the lion of Judah, the man of sorrows, the good shepherd, the resurrection, among many others. He is all-sufficient in all things.
On Good Friday, there were many questions, many people doubting, many people mocking, but the resounding question was this: Who is this man? Silent, breathless, bound by death... Who is this man who prays for those who curse his name? Who is this man? The Lamb of God who takes away sin... This is our Savior... This is Jesus!
This poetic video joyfully recounts the morning our King arose and defeated death forever. "The grave gave up its ancient claim; the world will never be the same. Where death once reigned, now mercy sings. The risen Christ... the King of kings!" And now, because He is alive, fear no longer rules and suffering is not wasted... Our story isn't over; We have hope forevermore!
See "From Darkness to Dawn (Good Friday)" for the abbreviated Good Friday edit version.
We saw it begin on Friday, the darkest day in history. With the cross on his back and nails in his hands, in his final breath he whispered, "It is finished." Saturday held the grief, but heaven wasn't done. On Sunday morning, the sun rose, the earth shook, and the stone was rolled away... "He is not here! He has risen! Jesus is alive!" This is life, hope, salvation, and resurrection. This... is Easter!
See "From Darkness to Dawn (Easter Intro)" for the extended Easter Sunday version.
Before we celebrate His resurrection, we must reflect on the darkest day when Jesus took all our sins upon himself on the cross. He was persecuted, abandoned, mocked, scorned with thorns on his head. The sky grew dim... The curtain was torn. It felt like defeat, like the end, but we call it Good Friday simply because it wasn't the end...
