Never forget the undeserved and unexpected suffering that struck a nation
Never forget the terror of destruction, but the wonder of bravery
Never forget the audacity of evil, but the heroism that opposed it
Never forget how a hurting people came together in a spirit of sadness and solidarity
Never forget the public servants who ran into the places others were running out of
Never forget the leaders that spoke to us with clarity and courage
Never forget those who stepped up and stepped forward to join the armed forces
Never forget the noble men and women who shield their fellow citizens from danger every day
Never forget the rubble that became the emblem of hope and healing
Never forget the resolve to rebuild in time what was torn down in a moment
Never forget the strength, fortitude, and determination to never give up and never forget that on September 11th, our lives were changed forever
