Hallelujah to the man of sorrows
Hallelujah to Jesus, the son of suffering
We praise him for the humanity
He embraced the pain
He felt the death
He died at the right time when we needed it
Most Christ died for us
And this is our only boast
The cross of Jesus Christ, the cross
Good news for sinners, rebels, and failures
By his stripes, we are healed by his blood
We are made pure the cross
God\'s extravagant love put on display where he left
No question that he would do whatever it took, no matter the cost
But make no mistake, we do not mourn a dead man
He Is alive
The cross is our post
The empty grave is our hope
We see sin, silence, death defeated, hell conquered
We see Jesus in glorious victory
So praise him with your fix
Praise him with your life
The tomb is empty
The Savior sits on a every bow before the lamb
That was hallelujah to the man of sorrows
Hallelujah to the son of suffering
Hallelujah to the resurrected king
