Storing up treasure in heaven means leveraging your time, talent, and your treasure so that more people know Christ, grow in Christ and are with Christ forever. And Jesus is flipping our view of treasure completely upside down: In the world, we use people to get treasure, but in the church, we use treasure to get people. You might not have cash to make some crazy investment opportunity, but when you invite people to church and you share the gospel with friends and you pray for coworkers and family members, and you make time for life-giving Christ-centered relationships, remember this truth: People are the only treasure you can take with you into eternity.
