In the Bible, fire is a symbol of God\'s presence and power, and therefore faith on fire is when the people of God are filled with the presence and power of God
And I\'m convinced that there\'s no more pressing need in our world right now and in our city and in this church than for God\'s people to be filled with his fire
That\'s what this world needs
Fathers who don\'t just provide for their families, but live holy and consecrated lives in front of them, praying for their children and leading them toward Christ
Mothers who carry the presence of God into their homes and set the spiritual temperature
College students who burn brightly for God, who care more about faithfulness to Christ than fitting in with culture
Teachers who see their classrooms as sacred ground
Athletes who work hard with conviction and humility
Marketplace leaders who see their work as worship and carry the fire of God into boardrooms and break rooms
Seniors and older saints who refuse to coast through retirement, but instead hunger for the Spirit\'s fire even in their seventies and beyond
And so when we say faith on fire, we\'re talking about a fire that stays lit by God himself
Do you want faith like that
