Lord, strengthen their mind to give them clear thoughts and creative ideas that would change the world
Open their eyes to see your beauty in the best, in others
To look away from impurity, but not from injustice
Open their ears
Hear the gospel
Open their heart to believe it
Fill their mouth with words of wisdom, not foolishness, blessing, and not cursing
Prepare their shoulders to carry the holy burden of godliness with courage and kindness
Strength and gentleness
Give them a backbone to stand against the darkness of this world
Strengthen their arms for the work that you have for them
And open their hands to the needy
And to the lonely
Anybody who needs a friend strengthen their legs to walk through the hills and valleys of life with you and order their footsteps in your word, in your will, in Jesus' name
